December 2010-February 2011

Thank you for the many gifts that were given. They were a tremendous blessing to us. It is a great encouragement to us. You will never know what your gifts mean to us.

I was able to preach our first Sunday night service of the year. One of the ladies in the church brought her niece and nephew to the service that night. They both raised their hand for salvation. After the service Pastor Weber was able to lead them to the Lord. Praise the Lord, what a great way to start off the year!

Soul winning has been going well. We have had most of the church come out each week and we have been seeing people saved. This has been an encouragement to the people at the church and to Pastor Weber. Please pray that God would continue to bless.

Before visitation one night, I taught on Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch.  I shared with the people how God works in people’s lives and prepares them. We went out that night and as we walked down the road, we encountered a man in his early thirties named Rodrigo. We began to witness to him and he was very attentive. He asked a couple of questions as we went through the plan of salvation. It was evident that the Holy Spirit was working in his heart. He trusted Christ as his Savior. We found out afterward that Rodrigo is a truck driver and is rarely home. What a blessing that God would arrange for us to meet him on that particular night! Juanita, the pastor’s wife was able to go by later and lead his wife to the Lord. Please pray for Rodrigo and Fabiana that they would grow in the Lord.

We started English classes at the church. Please pray for this endeavor. Although the people want to learn English, many of them aren’t willing to be faithful to class to learn. We have had one young man, named Brenner, come to the classes. Please pray for his salvation.

Joshua continues to grow. He has learned to do so much! He is almost ready to walk on his own. He keeps us ontoes! We are so thankful for him. Thank you for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for us as we serve in Brazil.
