January-March 2010
Greetings from Brazil. The Lord is so good! We praise the Lord for the
opportunity that He has given us to serve him and we thank you for the
opportunity to serve as your missionaries. You will never know what
your prayers mean to us.
Ingrid and the baby continue to do well. All of her check-ups have been
normal. We are having a boy and have decided to name him Joshua Samuel.
He should arrive around the beginning of June. Please continue to pray
that everything would go well. Thankfully, the Lord has provided us
with a great doctor.
The ministry in Arcos is going well. We have had visitors at many of
the services. Praise the Lord! Weber will be moving to Arcos in April.
This should help the church to grow, as he will have more opportunities
to meet people there. His job transfer to Arcos was finally approved as
well.. Weber and Nita just had their second child, Naomi Joy, on March
27th. Please continue to pray for them.
I was able to baptize two ladies that were saved through the ministry
in Formiga. This was a special blessing for me. Pastor Weber baptized
three people that were saved through the ministry in Arcos. Please pray
that we would see more folks saved and baptized.
The Lord blessed the camp we held in February. We had the largest
number of campers that we have ever had. We had great preaching and
singing during camp. Many decisions were made. Thank you for praying
for us and for the camp.
We were able to hold a Spiritual Warfare Conference at the beginning of
March with Pastor Marvin Smith III from Ft. Dodge, IA. There is a great
need for teaching on spiritual warfare here in Brazil. The conference
was a great help to the pastors who were able to attend. Please pray
that the pastors would be able to help their people.
