Praise the Lord, we are getting settled in. We have rented a house here in Formiga. Our house is about a mile from the church. We are able to walk to church on Sundays and Wednesdays.

The Lord has provided us with a language teacher. His name is Wirley. He is an excellent teacher. Please continue to pray for us that we would be able to learn the language quickly. Also, pray that Wirley would get saved. I have had the opportunity to share the gospel with him. He is open to spiritual things. Please pray that the Lord would open his eyes so that he would get saved.

Please pray for a young man who attends the church here in Formiga. His name is Guilerme. He is saved and attends church faithfully. He is 12 years old. He has has been a help to us in finding page numbers in the hymnal and our place in the Bible. His family is lost. Pray that he will be a good testimony. Pray that his family will get saved.

Praise the Lord for a gift that was given to help us get a vehicle. Used vehicles are very expensive here in Brazil. Once the word gets out that you are looking for a vehicle, they start coming to you. This happened to us one morning. A man brought a car by for me to look at. He spoke some broken English. What a blessing it was that the Lord would bring by someone that I could witness to in English. As I test drove the car, I was able to witness to him. Needless to say, I drove around for a while. Please pray for Luciano to get saved.
