This prayer letter brings very special personal news. We found out on October 3rd that Ingrid is expecting. We were able to see the baby on an ultrasound and hear the heart beat as well.  Some of you may remember that Ingrid miscarried early during her last pregnancy. We ask that you would pray that the baby would go full term. The Lord has provided a wonderful doctor here in Brazil.

Bro. Bob Nichols Sr. returned to Brazil in October. They have stepped into our place in the work in Córrego Fundo. Bro. Nichols began the Bible study in Córrego Fundo and was able to step into that work when they returned to Brazil. They have also taken over the English classes. Praise the Lord that several of the young ladies who are attending the English classes have been saved. Please pray for the work in Córrego Fundo. Also, please pray for Bruno, the Brazilian man who is leading the work.

We have begun working in the city of Arcos. The city of Arcos is a city of about 30,000 people. There is presently a small work in Arcos. Weber is the pastor of the work in Arcos. He has been pastoring the work in addition to working more than fifty hours per week. He believes that the Lord wants him to go full time in the ministry. He has begun to visit churches and raise support. We will be helping him during his deputation. The first time I went witnessing with Weber we were able to lead three young men to the Lord.

Please continue to pray for our permanent visas to be approved. All the paperwork has been turned in. All we can do is wait and pray.
